Tecton Products: Past, Present and Future
Tecton Products, the world leader in pultruded fiberglass products, began in 1990 in Fargo, ND as a partnership with Marvin Windows and Doors.
Tecton Products and Marvin worked closely throughout the design, development and testing of a complete new product line featuring fiberglass frames. The result was the successful Integrity® product line for the new construction market.
In 2002, Infinity® from Marvin was introduced for the replacement window market again featuring Tecton's pultruded fiberglass framing components. In 2006, Tecton Products expanded to the Roanoke, VA area with a new 75,000-square-foot plant. Our Fargo plant houses 110,000 square feet of design, engineering and manufacturing space.
Tecton Products’ commitment to efficient manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement programs has earned us the trusted reputation as a fiberglass products leader who provides unparalleled quality and consistency. In recognition of the effectiveness of our quality control system, our continual improvement and our strong customer focus, we achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2002. (Certificate: FM 69817)
In 2005, Tecton Products earned North Dakota's first OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) designation. This achievement recognized Tecton Products for demonstrating exemplary safety and health management programs. In 2011 our location in Fargo, ND was approved to participate in OSHA's VPP (Voluntary Protection Programs) Star Program. Through the program, Tecton commits to a proactive approach to safety and health management while maintaining injury and illness rates below the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) industry average.
